PTC Ceramic Technology and Tower Geometry

Tower geometry is functional, not stylistic. The tall body creates a long vertical outlet column; the fan pushes air across the heat sink and out through the grill, so warm or cool air spreads upward and outward. This suits rooms with limited floor area or higher ceilings.

PTC stands for positive temperature coefficient. In our ceramic tower heater models, the element's resistance rises as temperature rises, which automatically reduces power draw and prevents thermal runaway. The result is faster warm-up than a simple wire coil, more even surface temperature, and inherently safer operation. Where the model includes a thermostat, the control system adjusts heating power to hold the room near the target level.
